Local Government Regional Policy Interests
The West Midlands Leaders Board (WMLB) is the new regional decision making body for local government in the West Midlands. It has taken over the role formerly carried out by the West Midlands Local Government Association. A new website is under development. In the meantime, information about current activity is available on this website.
West Midlands LGA and the West Midlands Regional Assembly operate with an efficient and effective joint policy team to deliver both partnership and local government specific policy work. West Midlands LGA contributes resources to support the structure and working of West Midlands Regional Assembly to underpin local government's policy interests and leadership in the regional partership agenda, particulary in relation to planning, housing, transport, environment, European and International, social inclusion and health issues.
