The West Midlands Leaders Board (WMLB) is the new regional decision making body for local government in the West Midlands. It has taken over the role formerly carried out by the West Midlands Local Government Association. A new website is under development. In the meantime, information about current activity is available on this website.

The Regional Democracy Framework

West Midlands LGA provides the organisation for ensuring that the principles and disciplines of local democracy and accountability are extended to the regional level. West Midlands LGA operates through acknowledged mechanisms and processes for determining local government representation on WMLGA's own member structures, those of existing partner structures such as theWest Midlands Regional Assembly (WMRA), the West Midlands Provincial Council,West Midlands in Europe (WMiE) and other regional bodies where WMLGA is the nominating body.
