Changes at a Regional level
The West Midlands Leaders Board (WMLB) is a decision making body that brings together all Local Authorities Leaders within the West Midlands. It has been established in line with Government's proposed changes to regional working contained within the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Bill which is currently before Parliament.
Work is currently being undertaken to develop new governance arrangements to replace the existing WMLGA structure. More information will be available following the WMLGA Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 8 July 2009.
